Apparently apples and bananas are the "next big thing" for Christmas because that was his response again last night. This morning he did offer a little bit of variety to the list. Monday, November 8, 2010. Fast Forward to Now. It is surprising how quickly I got behind on this blog. I have the best of intentions to keep this as updated as possible and yet, I never find the time to actually sit down and post anything. Sadly enough, I have about 2 months to catch you all up on. I’ll give you the abbreviated version, here goes:. Back in September (see, I told you I was WAY behind) we got to introduce Tyler to a love of ours, FOOTBALL! Mhali liked to bust a move out on the dance floor!

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. We went to see Dr. G on Monday for Tyler's four month check-up/shots. We knew he'd grown a bunch and now we have the statistics to prove it. 12 pounds, 7 ounces. 25 1/2 inches long. In two months he's gained 1 pound, 3 ounces and grown 2 inches! With those numbers he's in the 65th percentile for height and the 5th percentile for weight. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Bright and early this morning we asked Ty what he wanted Santa to bring him for Christmas. At 7:08 am it became apparent to Jay and I that we needed to work with our little man on being greedy. Perhaps we should ask him AFTER his belly is full. We're guessing his answers may change. This tradition began when we all lived in the same neighborhood, and although we live in different neighborhoods now, we still have the same Santa coming back to delight the same group of kids (although that group has grown from just 4 in 2008 to 11 now! Sunday, November 23, 2014. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day at Home. On Christmas Eve, we bundled the kids up, made a stop at Kwik Shop for warm beverages, and took off on a Christmas lights tour around town. Such a small thing, but it was so much fun. I really hope we can find time to continue this every year. After we got home, we let the kids open their one gift on Christmas Eve- always PJs. Right before bed time, we set out milk and cookies for Santa and our elf, Elliott. Crazy hair, don't care.
