Wednesday, July 22, 2015. We are not consumed. New every morning,. We are coming up on two months since our move from PA to CO. We are enjoying it very much! Lack of humidity, "rat race," (that's usually a choice btw) less traffic, (Serena and I laugh when we go to town and meet 5 vehicles on the road that leads to civilization we comment that 'it's really busy today! Peace and quiet, God's AMAZING unaltered Creation! We feel blessed to be here at this time in our lives. The edge that you see there?

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High. Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,. My God, in whom I trust.". I realized after I left to take the kids to school that I should have taken the camera. So after I returned home I retraced some of my 'steps' and took a few photos. I may have to take up nature photography, I kinda like it! The mystery and beauty of fog is irresistible to me. Love it! 1 sm egg, scrambled.

Monday, July 20, 2015. He loves his swing and we took it along to Meadville to visit Aunt Carla! This vintage lunch bag I found while garage saling with Sonya this spring, it works great to pack Henry's stuff. Somehow I managed to be packed up and ready a day ahead of time. This is so not like me but made the day of departure go so smoothly. I knew that this bus was loud but until it backs into your drive and startles all the neighbors. you might not fully appreciate it. Stuart is just in his glory.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Things the Kids Say. Stuart is 5. We tell him that he will drive a Studebaker when he grows up. He says he's going to drive a dump truck. Last week he told me while watching birds while I was driving, "If I was a bird I would fly all the way to Grenada.". He is very obsessed with highways and the turnpike. "Are we on the highway? Friday, December 14, 2012. 3/4 cup white sugar. 1 10oz bag mini pretzle sticks. 2 cups chocolate chips. Sprinkle of sea salt. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat butter and sugar in a saucepan until boiling. Cook on medium for 2 - 3 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Line an 11x14 inch pan with parchment paper. Line up pretzels in a single file as best as you can. Pour sugar butter mixture over the pretzels and pop into the oven for 8 minutes. As if this wasn't enough fun all ready! Oh fun...

Wednesday, February 12, 2014. I wrote a silly book for my children and nieces and nephews. This was a quick project that made me very aware of how much work it is to write a book. I was racing against a Christmas deadline and it is what it is. Stuart knew about it, he was my only critic. Until Nate came home from work then he had to listen to all things Beanie. Oh my. Mia can smell a project like this from a mile away and she was full of questions. Used the files to make a blurb book. Make Your Own Book.

This week and the next day I left her do it all by herself. Henry's first trip to the Farmersville Auction. Boys at the cabin. Turning the living room into a guest room. My makeshift privacy curtain.
