Working at the Pole. Public Data Access (last release on 24 Jun 2016). A new release is available related to searches for sterile neutrinos using the IceCube detector. The atmospheric muon neutrino spectrum as a function of zenith angle and energy has been measured to search for the oscillation signatures of light sterile neutrinos. No evidence for anomalous muon neutrino disappearance is observed and the IceCube collaboration has set new limits on light sterile neutrinos. IceCube Policy on Data Sharing.

Working at the Pole. IceCube, the South Pole neutrino observatory, is a cubic-kilometer particle detector made of Antarctic ice and located near the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. It is buried beneath the surface, extending to a depth of about 2,500 meters. The tasks which it performs can be grouped roughly into four categories: operational (real-time) tasks, verification tasks, monitoring tasks, and administration tasks related to managing the Data Movement subsystem itself. Tape archive made, but files not transfered. Usual priority level for raw unfiltered datasets. TCP/IP network transfer (scp). Medium priority low-volume data. High priority low-volume data.
