There are several types of traps for monitoring Pecan Weevil emergence, here we present how to construct three. 2- PYRAMID TRAPS (Tedder's Trap). Some of these traps also can be purchased from these stores (follow link). (Wire Cone, Tedder's trap, Circle trap). Adapted from TCE Fact Sheet L-1808). A sturdy material for constructing cone traps is 1/8 inch mesh wire hardware cloth.
