The 17.44 South Boatyard was established in 1995. By two brothers, Laurent and Christoph Champroux. In 2005 the facility was sold and renamed, The Port Vila Boatyard. In 2012 the boatyard was sold to the current owners. The Port Vila Boatyard has been providing top quality marine services to Vanuatu’s local and foreign yachting community for the past 20 years.
