View my complete profile. 6 My Brothers Cooler. 3 A Face Only a Mother Could Love? My last post was facetiously titled "Robbed". It turned out to be quite prophetic. About two weeks ago, we lost our car to a bunch of beer toting thieves. Lesson: Two days earlier, we'd been talking about the car situation. Do we sell and get a nicer one? This one was starting to nickel and dime us. Or do we try to hold out a little longer? I happened to browse through the Sunday paper, not really expecting much. Only ...

HonestGrl: Surfside 26.2
http://honestgrl.blogspot.com/2010/02/surfside-262.html
Saturday, February 13, 2010. A place of seashells, fishermen, oil rigs, toxic ocean, and the Surfside Marathon/Half marathon. A little background of the race is that it is small. Very small. That worried me a bit. Last year there were only six people in my age division. Only 240 marathoners in all. There was good potential that I could come in last.or first.but more likely last. Things that interested me in this race before I ran it:. I squealed with delight. One great thing that I really liked about thi...

Good Travel Fun | Living in Haytown
https://jeremyandlaura.wordpress.com/2013/01/08/good-travel-fun
We are like this. January 8, 2013. We had some good travel fun this past week, visiting Laura’s family in Nashville. (I mean Nashville, TN, not Nashville, KS, if you were wondering.). One of the highlights of the trip occurred at McKay bookstore. This is a used book store where I acquired a large amount of $0.05 and $0.15 mysteries, filling up an entire suitcase! Also, she’s renamed us. I’m now Deremy, and my wife is Yora. Or Yoooraah. Or Yorrrah. Take your pick. Published on the Web! Cake and ice cream.

Apparently, a 22-month-old boy (Cole) is water skiing and amazing everyone. "It's in his blood," says his mother who began skiing at 3 years of age. There's even video footage to be seen. (Check it out here: http:/ msnbc.msn.com/id/14190491/? Months- my parents just didn't have the PR savvy to boot him into the media.

View my complete profile. 6 My Brothers Cooler. 3 A Face Only a Mother Could Love? As the school year is coming to a close, I'm feeling the loss of my classroom. True I have. Been in school this whole year, but there is something to be said about being on the other side of the desk. As already mentioned, I'm finishing up some great science classes: Physiology (can you say. Biochem (hooray for metabolic pathways) and Microbiology (favorite microbe: Pseudomonas aerugenosa. See figure at right). I'm dow...

HonestGrl: June 2010
http://honestgrl.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 1, 2010. The World's Smallest 26.2. I'm the new kid in town. I don't know the ropes of where I live and wanting to dive into the endurance community I decided to sign up for a marathon. I looked up runningintheusa.com and looked for a close-to-home marathon. The one that fit my schedule: Elma, Washington. I had never heard of this town before, but it was nearby and the site looked legit so.I signed up. So we got there a half hour early, checked out the four orange cones marking the driveway...
