Does anyone have any idea what kind of insect makes this chrysalis? I found it growing on a dead branch of a Copper Canyon Daisy bush a couple of weeks ago. It's a little bigger than a quarter in size and kind of golden brown and scaly.

Before install, we added a little graffiti to hide behind the cabinets for someone to discover next time the cabinets are replaced. Our kitchen is very awkward due to all the doorways, so the only cabinet that is a normal 24" depth is the sink cabinet and a really narrow one by the stove. All the others are shallower than normal.
