Green Rumors

Monday, September 22, 2008. Check me out on EcoGeek! I just started writing for EcoGeek. One of my favorite blogs out there. You can see my first post (one of many to come) right now! I will probably be focusing most of my cleantech-blogging-energy onEcoGeek for now, but all you guys have to do is change your homepage from www.greenrumors.blogspot.com to www.ecogeek.org and you'll hardly notice a thing! But there's plenty of cleantech in this. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Bill Gates loves algae, too.

Green Rumors: I've got my philosophy

http://www.greenrumors.blogspot.com/2008/09/ive-got-my-philosophy.html

Friday, September 5, 2008. I've got my philosophy. I just ran across a great article. One of my favorite green blogs. It argues that people generally won't make green or environmentally-friendly choices simply for the sake of being good global citizens. But they will if it saves them money or makes their life better. I couldn't agree more. But the author makes his point better than I can summarize it, so check it out. Here's a little more on the same topic:. September 7, 2008 at 9:19 AM.

Green Rumors: A123: Batteries of the future

http://www.greenrumors.blogspot.com/2008/09/a123-batteries-of-future.html

Tuesday, September 2, 2008. A123: Batteries of the future. Keep your eyes on A123Systems. They are a battery manufacturer using proprietary MIT technology to make batteries that are far better than the standard lithium ions. Their recent claim to (potential) fame is that they are being considered by GM to provide the battery for the Chevy Volt. GM was considering one other battery manufacturer, LG Chemicals. GM has announced that it has decided on one, but won't say which. Of course even without the Volt...

Green Rumors: Bill Gates loves algae, too

http://www.greenrumors.blogspot.com/2008/09/bill-gates-loves-algae-too.html

Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Bill Gates loves algae, too. You may have noticed that a lot of my posts are about companies who make biofuel out of algae. This is for several reasons. I happen to think this technology is particularly promising, and because there are relatively few players in the market right now, it is easy to keep an eye on exactly what's going on. Oh, and I want to work for one of them. Real bad. CNET review, it (the fuel) has been rated at 91% octane, which is good. Started comming ou...

An attempt to keep up to date information on and reviews of the Farmers' Markets and Community Gardens in New York City, with occasional other information for New Yorkers interested in sustainability and/or gastronomy. Operation Market Garden: The Loftier Branches

http://nycmarketgarden.blogspot.com/2008/09/loftier-branches.html

An attempt to keep up to date information on and reviews of the Farmers' Markets and Community Gardens in New York City, with occasional other information for New Yorkers interested in sustainability and/or gastronomy. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Frequently I have to fight the impulse to turn this into a general purpose blog on sustainability, especially scientific and engineering problems in making our society cleaner, leaner, and greener. It's already mean enough. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, May 01, 2008. Oh, hello all of you. The whole team has been lost and dead. I'm thinking loss of creativity? The ideas have ceased to flow and thus, work on this blog has been zilch. Ah, well the creativity was never there anyway. But, I thought I'd get something happening in here. You know, just to ruffle a few pages, push some keys, type letters, words and sentences. So that's been done. All taken care of. Enjoy this post. We'll be back soon. Zzzzz. Thursday, December 20, 2007. Keep a tight ho...
