Little Tiny Hangers: The 4th
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-4th.html
Monday, July 06, 2015. I had coffee at our book club tonight, and now it's after midnight but I can't sleep. I may as well fill this time with late night blogging. The 4th of July was amazing, as always. Renee set up a gorgeous backyard bbq for the family, which included Arthur and April and their kids this year. Liz and Whit even managed an earlier than expected arrival, so the crowd was large and fun! Without further ado, the video: (keep your volume low, lots of explosions and laughter! I'm so glad th...

Little Tiny Hangers: Memories - EHS 20 year reunion edition
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/07/memories-ehs-20-year-reunion-edition.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Memories - EHS 20 year reunion edition. If you're my FB friend, you definitely cannot have missed the fact that last weekend was my 20th high school reunion. I think I was tagged in more photos this weekend than in any given year on FB previously. Photos like these:. There were lots more that I wasn't tagged in, so probably didn't show up in your newsfeed unless you are friends with some of my high school friends. Photos like these:. We had a really fantastic time! The number of h...

Little Tiny Hangers: Mid-summer
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/07/mid-summer.html
Monday, July 06, 2015. We were going to go the library this morning - thirty or so of our myriad books were due back today - but the kids mutinied and I gave up. Turns out we hadn't rechecked those yet, so forget it. We'll stay home and recheck online. It's not worth forcing them all in the car if they don't want to go. I already have a book to read. It's typical mid-summer ennui. On their part and mine. "Let's go to the pool! Is greeted by "uuugggghhhhh" instead of "hooray! Can we go to the Omaha Zoo?

Little Tiny Hangers: Eye opening
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/07/eye-opening.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. This coming weekend is my 20 year high school reunion. I'm really looking forward to it. No, really! Don't just assume the sarcasm typical to my writing. Occasionally I'm serious. Oh, folks. Oh gosh. If I ever needed a window into what my girls are going through now and what they will be going through over the next 7 to 16 years (depending on the girl in question), I just got one. It was not pretty. With a straight face. You would not know that from these journals! Mom of the year.

Little Tiny Hangers: Father's Day ballgame
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/06/fathers-day-ballgame.html
Sunday, June 21, 2015. I'm putting this here as a reminder to myself next year, because I know that when Father's Day rolls around again, and the forecast is HOT and Nathaniel says, "How about the Collar Series game. I'll grumble and say, "{sigh} It's YOUR day, I guess.". Actually, I probably won't say that. That's what I said this year. Or maybe I said, "Seriously? And we should organize with some of those out of town friends so we have more time to catch up! Way better than I expected! So Say We All.

Little Tiny Hangers: The bunk bed!
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-bunk-bed.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Someone anonymously requested that I document the construction and quality of our IKEA bunk bed, so I'm giving it a full post! Even if that person is not you, I'll try to make it informational and entertaining. I found the bed - IKEA's MYDAL bunk bed frame. Over the past few months, I've pulled up the bunk bed page often, always clicking the "check stock at your local store" button, and taking comfort in the consistent high supply status. Woohoo! Ramblings. Over the 4th of July...

Little Tiny Hangers: Tiny whatsit?
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2005/11/tiny-whatsit.html
Wednesday, November 09, 2005. A few weeks ago we (Nathaniel, Marianne, Ruth and I) were all in the living room one evening and I was taking tags off some new things that I had bought for the girls, including some socks. You know how socks have that plastic hook to hang them in the store for display? I set one of those on the coffee table. Marianne sees it, picks it up, gets a big grin on her face and says, "Little tiny hanger! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. So Say We All.

Little Tiny Hangers: The day I realized I'd lost all control of my summer schedule...
http://tinyhangers.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-day-i-realized-id-lost-all-control.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. The day I realized I'd lost all control of my summer schedule. My heavens, I do not. Know what happened to our calendar this summer. I barely scheduled anything. There was that one week of Totus Tuus, and Marianne's three day SKY Camp, but no swim lessons, no major family vacations, no sports. And yet. BAM! Blog about it) and get nothing done instead of checking something off the huge list of things I should be doing. Oh, and Tom and Laura are coming to town for an action packed co...
