The Nichols Family: May 2004
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2004. I slept in the morning of our wedding. something I didn't think I'd be able to do, but I was so exhausted! I got up and showered and threw on some pj pants and a t-shirt and headed over to Nana's house for my bridesmaid's luncheon! The hair and make-up ladies met us there and did the bridesmaids hair and make-up for me and those who wanted to have theirs done. It was so much fun! I LOVED my bridesmaid's luncheon! I couldn't believe this was THE DAY! Finally I went down to the front ...

The Nichols Family: 32 Weeks Pregnant
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2010/04/32-weeks-pregnant.html
Friday, April 2, 2010. Well, I'm actually almost 33 now. :D I can not believe how quickly this pregnancy is flying by! I'm still going to the gym! Which leads me to some good news! At 20 weeks I was diagnosed with a low lying placenta (marginal placenta previa). In most pregnancies as the uterus grows the placenta moves up and away from the cervix. The good news is that I had an ultrasound on Tuesday of this week and everything looks good! At 28 weeks I measured 28 weeks, but at my 30 week appointment I ...

The Nichols Family: August 2004
http://johnandamandanichols.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2004. A Bad day at work. Most of you know this story. The story of August 16, 2004. I thought I would divide this in to two stories: John's account and Amanda's account of the events of that day. At almost 10pm that night my phone rang. It was the call that every army wife fears most. "Mrs. Nichols, this is LT Nelson with the rear detachment. I am calling to inform you that your husband was injured in an ambush in Iraq today.". All I can say about that day is that the Lord is an awesom...

http://fivegatorfans.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 2, 2009. A new year has begun. Brandi is a beautiful, loving wife. Her love for me has been a continual source of strength and encouragement. She has always been a woman of whom I can be proud and boastful. She is diligent in her labors. Generosity spills from her heart so naturally. Her passion for life and love for our children is incredible. I pray for the Lord's blessing on each of you in the year 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A new year has begun.

Monday, September 29, 2008. Lucas and Aaron in the foodcourt after dinner. I don't think we ate at home yesterday, oh wait we had cereal here. Oh well, what can you do. At least Lucas eats healthy meals. Lucas and I had a bunch of errands to run today. In the process, we stopped to play in the grass a little. and pose by the flowers of course! He really likes grass. I can't believe we hadn't thought of letting him play in it before now. Poor sheltered little boy. Lucas' new diapers got here today! Lucas ...

Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas! Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Us during the day. I think the lack of sleep has taken its toll on all of us. Last weekend we had a surprise. Party for Aaron's great-grandma, whom we all call Grandmother. There was a pretty good turnout, even though the entire family wasn't able to make it. Here are some pictures from it. Grandmother with each of her children's families. See poor Lucas, all tuckered out). It was so good! We had a lit...

The Martin Family: September 2009
http://aarontorimartin.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Lucas has an announcement! We are adding another little one to our family! We haven't been actively trying, we were just waiting for it to happen. It was much less stressful this way, as opposed to the agony involved with trying to conceive Lucas. Ok, not that the act of trying is agonizing by any means, but the disappointment of a negative pregnancy test, month after month, for a year. So, next May, Lucas will become a big brother! Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Lucas and I s...

Thursday, August 26, 2010. As my favorite season approaches, I figure it's time to get out and start exploring this fabulous city we live in (ok, so we're in the burbs, but you get the point). Well the Country Club Plaza of course, to see the fun statues and fountains! Love this statue btw. The mother protecting the child. and a "real" woman, with pudge and all.). His expression reminded me that I just need to have patience. I then thought of my neighbor's facebook post this morning and that I need t...
