Half full, half empty. Hey, my town has its own weather webpage. Who knew.or cared? We have one 12 month long season- summer-ish. The weather is always sunny and mild, minus a wave of scattered showers every four years or so. We have morning clouds which have always burned off by the time I rise and shine. Nobody's getting paid at a library sale, nobody's getting paid at a thrift store, and they're endlessly hassled by legions of scroungers and bottom feeders. Half full, half empty. True customer tales: The Grasshopper and the Spider. So, earlier a mom and little girl come up, and the little girl is seriously. Reminding me of Fuss. And is transfixed by our spider and grasshopper. While I'm ringing the sale the girl's trying to get the spider to stick, which it just can't, and ends up pulling it off the base. Snaps Mom, reddening. "Right now! And don't touch the other one! I burst out laughing, because it was such a total. Everything is in the perspective.

Half full, half empty. More Than a Feeling. With his mama away meeting a baby in Boston, we're Batching it up this week. Which was cool with Fuss earlier when we got home- he ran up the stairs shouting "It's just us boys, WOOOO! Then demanded milk and graham crackers for dinner. But way less cool when bed time rolled around. After reading a few books and fending off dozens of wiley delaying tactics, I had him settling down. Dada, it feels weird without Mama here.".
