Hike at Barrier Lake. On June 6, 2015 my friend Nick and I headed out to Kananaskis Country. For a hike at Barrier Lake. We summited to 450 M to enjoy a spectacular view of the lake. I took along my D90 and shot with my 12-24 f4 DX and 70-300 F4.5-5.6 (105-450 on a DX body), and took a few pictures. Conditions were great for the hike but not for shooting, as the light was fairly flat and hazy – it was a hot day! Here are a few of them though. Relaxing at the top of the mountian. Dinosaur Park in Alberta’s Badlands. On May 30th, 2015 my buddy Amin and I went camping in Dinosaur Park. In Alberta’s badlands. The scenery was fantastic, so much that my photos hardly capture what we saw. I did a photo safari into the park and shot on two bodies – my D90 for the long lens (70-200 mm FX / 112-320 mm on the D90) and my D600 for the 14-24 mm FX. Here’s a few of the my favourite shots. Vancouver – biking and hiking August long weekend. For the August long weekend I visited my friend Sean in Vancouver. There was plenty of activity, from biking and hiking around town to fireworks and the Pride parade. Here are a few shots of our bike rides around Van, a visit to Deep Cove (where we failed on the kayak reservation and thus failed to kayak) and a hike at Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver.
