http://distaffdelusions.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 25, 2013. A Home Museum and Mood! Last weekend the Saturday Spinners were invited to hold our March meeting at the home of Susie Henzie, who is pretty famous in the fiber arts community for her collection of spinning and weaving tools from all over the world. A small part of her collection was displayed at the Los Angeles County Fair a couple of years ago. Then Susie led us to the back of the house, where the major part of her collection is displayed in a three-story addition. Wow! After th...

http://cayswanncrafts.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Crafty bugger: Hand-spun yarns, embroidered felt, calligraphy and original illumination, you never know what I might be working on. Thursday, September 27, 2012. Gathering input for my curiousity. I am curious: Do any of you follow podcasts? Do you ever click through to watch video snippets or listen to sound clips on blogs? Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Prioritizing had the most effect on me: What I wanted. To work on was not necessarily what I needed. Click a photo to enlarge). Finally, I had a Twisted ...

JANICE ROSEMA: September 2012
http://janicerosema.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. Extreme long locks hand spun yarns. The yarns shown here are a group of extreme long locks spinning created from glorious fleeces from Namaste Farms (Natalie Redding) in Temecula California. There are several skeins of Wensleydale wool which run from 7 inches and a few that are 12 inches long. Additionally, the Teeswater wool skeins are 12-14 inches in length and look spectacular. They are all very soft to the touch and yardages range from 2 yards up to 15 yards. Also, I've go...

JANICE ROSEMA: December 2011
http://janicerosema.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 22, 2011. Spinning, designing and knitting as well as crocheting. It feels like I have been silent too long. Life has been an adventure as my computer died the death of a thousand screams! It has been quite a journey trying to reconstruct everything. I thought I had it all saved on disks - WRONG! Yikes, slow but sure, I am getting it back together. Our wild little kitten Karma has been busy too - she managed to topple over the Christmas tree and scatter things everywhere! Additionally,...

JANICE ROSEMA: More yarns and Wonderful Waldorf Dolls
http://janicerosema.blogspot.com/2012/09/more-yarns-and-wonderful-waldorf-dolls.html
Monday, September 17, 2012. More yarns and Wonderful Waldorf Dolls. It always gives me a thrill to see what people do with the yarns they purchase from me. A lot goes for knitting, crocheting, weaving and other handcrafts. One of my favorite uses are using it for doll hair. Here are some outstanding examples of Waldorf dolls made with my textured cores pun yarn. Aren't they just darling? They are created by Jean Wagner who sells her dolls on Etsy and is also on Facebook as Tigerlilys. Thoughts of a woman...

Back in the swing… | Hands Working
https://handworkteacher.wordpress.com/2012/09/21/back-in-the-swing
On having the best job in the world: handwork teaching in a Waldorf school. Back in the swing…. Late spring was a whirlwind, summer was a vacation (mostly) and the end of summer was a scramble to get ready for the school year. Now we are back to school, and I am ready to write about it again! This week I mixed up 8 natural dye baths to dye yarn, embroidery floss, felt and silk. My long term goal for my program is to segue away from any commercially dyed products in the next few years. Follow any comments...
