The Priest Clan: September 2011
http://thepriestclan.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. I love it when grandma brings little man to eat lunch with me! He brightens up my day. :-). Saturday, September 10, 2011. When they crash like this after skipping their nap, it is all too evident they are still my sweet babies and they still NEED that afternoon snooze. ;-). They look like little Divas. Friday, September 09, 2011. My new favorite pic of Felicity. Monday, September 05, 2011. And I have no idea where she picked that up. I'm blaming kindergarten! Mi Casa es su Casa.

The Priest Clan: January 2013
http://thepriestclan.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 07, 2013. Our little ladies are coming of age! They were born July 31st, so it's taken about five months for them to start laying. We've found eight eggs so far. We have ten hens total, but I'm not sure how many are laying since we were out of town over the weekend. We'll find out soon enough, though! I expect at least half a dozen eggs a day, ladies! These 'baby' eggs are so tiny and so cute! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Enjoying the simple life. Mi Casa es su Casa.

Thursday, December 31, 2009. 2 cups Hair Conditioner (Suave has a lot of fun scents and is pretty cheap). I have been putting them in empty hair shampoo / conditioner, creamer, mouthwash and ketchup containers. More so so I can give away as gifts with the recipe on the outside of the container. I have also seen some really great ideas for conserving fabric softener:. Throw in an aluminium foil ball for static. (have not tried, but sounds like an interesting idea). Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Grate the bar...

Thursday, January 5, 2012. HE Laundry Detergent Powder Method. Here is a post that I just read for HE machines. Personally the other one that is posted doesn't suds and could also be used, but this is one from someone that uses in hers and it works great. 8226; 3 bars of soap. (I used to use Ivory) 5 oz. (guessing Fels Napa just the same). 8226; 3 cups Borax. 8226; 3 cups Arm and Hammer washing soda ($5 for 55 oz). You will only need about 1/4 cup for a full load. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, April 3, 2010. My favorite is using green food coloring and coconut around the entire cake for green grass and then sprinkling jelly beans on top of it. However, I try and keep the whole center of the cake coconut free since there are coconut haters out there. For this cake I just sprinkled a bag of jelly beans and some milk chocolate eggs around the entire cake. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Awesome Inc. template. Powered by Blogger.

Random Thoughts: Quinoa-Sweet Potato Casserole
http://lippy2589.blogspot.com/2014/03/quinoa-sweet-potato-casserole.html
Sunday, March 2, 2014. 1 cup cooked quinoa. 3 cups cooked black beans (or two 15 oz cans, drained and rinsed). 2 large sweet potatoes, shredded. 1 cup shredded Daiya non-dairy cheddar cheese (I left this out, but would be good added). 1 tbsp ground cumin. Liberal pinches salt and pepper. 1/2 cup nutritional yeast. 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish. I cooked up a batch of dried beans that I seasoned with onions, garlic, chiles and spices. If you use canned beans, you might need more spices.
