Growing a Little Schulze: February 2015

http://www.growingalittleschulze.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Growing a Little Schulze. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Daniel - 1 month old. Sweet, sleepy 1 month old. Daniel turned 1 month old on December 30th. Here's how he spent New Year's Eve. Worn out from all the crazy partying of course! Or, enjoying a quiet night with his parents while his sisters were with grandparents. We still mixed it up for a few weeks after that but he was fully in his crib by the end of January. At night he would usually wake up twice to eat. Goodness is that addictive! He loves sleepin...

Growing a Little Schulze: January 2015

http://www.growingalittleschulze.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Growing a Little Schulze. Sunday, January 4, 2015. We were blessed that Jeff was able to take a month off when Daniel arrived. But sadly, he had to go back to work eventually. And that happened on New Year's Day. I had a few days grace period with the girls at my parent's house. So Saturday January 3rd was my first solo day with all 3 kids. I documented it for future reference (or remembrance in this case). At one point I was performing a triage to figure what to handle first: a hungry, crying baby, a to...

Growing a Little Schulze: September 2014

http://www.growingalittleschulze.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Growing a Little Schulze. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Claire, age 3: first movie and sleepover! The weekend of July 19th was a big one for Claire. First, she went to the movie theater for the first time! One of mommy and daddy's favorite things to do before kids! Waiting for the movie to start. We saw Planes 2: Fire and Rescue. Claire did pretty well. She got restless toward the end and was in and out of her seat a lot. But she enjoyed the experience. The popcorn and lemonade didn't hurt! We had our ana...

Growing a Little Schulze: April 2015

http://www.growingalittleschulze.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Growing a Little Schulze. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Happy 4 month old! Apparently this month is all about sleep. Or lack there of! 90% of my notes are about sleep issues. I even wrote about it on facebook: " The 4 month sleep regression is upon us! We had it good. I would nurse him on the couch after the girls were in bed. He'd fall asleep and snooze on me a little bit until I carried him up to bed. Many nights he would sleep through the night! Tues 4/7 I wrote: "got him to do 1 and half naps in crib&#46...

Growing a Little Schulze: 20 week Ultrasound

http://www.growingalittleschulze.blogspot.com/2010/10/20-week-ultrasound.html

Growing a Little Schulze. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Today was the big day (well, one of the big days)! The baby's face on the left, body on the right, and part of the hand up top. Profile of the baby, possibly sucking it's thumb. The foot, so kindly labeled by the ultrasonographer. Now for the answer:. Let's try to keep the onslaught of pink to a minimum! October 12, 2010 at 10:46 PM. Why yes, it does scare me how often we think alike. :). October 12, 2010 at 11:22 PM. October 13, 2010 at 8:55 AM.

Hobbies and Hammies: Favorite Fall Delivery

http://hobbiesandhammies.blogspot.com/2014/11/favorite-fall-delivery.html

Wednesday, November 12, 2014. It's the most wonderful time of the year- new planner time! The pretty box from Erin Condren. Arrived on my doorstep earlier this week, and I was super-excited that it showed up a few days early. She added a new feature to her planners this year- interchangeable covers. And when I ordered last month, there was a promo to get an extra cover for free. Don't you just love the happiness quote? Business, and substitute teacher jobs! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hobbies and Hammies: Pinterest in the Kitchen

http://hobbiesandhammies.blogspot.com/2015/07/pinterest-in-kitchen.html

Monday, July 20, 2015. Pinterest in the Kitchen. I've been keeping myself insanely busy with our new home this summer (and planning a baby shower for my sister, but that's another post.). I haven't been crafting much, but I have been using Pinterest like it's going out of style for home and garden inspiration. I've actually tackled a few projects, so woohoo! When I need more under-sink storage, I may try hanging baskets from the top, but for now, we have plenty of space. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Hobbies and Hammies: March 2014

http://hobbiesandhammies.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Another bib and burp cloth set made it through snail mail to baby Aaleayah, so I can finally post a picture. Big sister Faith had a star button on her knit set. Bib and burpcloth set in Sugar 'n Cream "Camo Pink". It took me way too long to knit my second commissioned piece for the same daughter of a former co-worker who received a fuzzy purple scarf. In January. She chose a Quick and Easy Knitted Infinity Scarf. Infinity Scarf made with Yarn Bee's Debut yarn in "Rose Petal".

Hobbies and Hammies: April 2015

http://hobbiesandhammies.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 23, 2015. Welcome to Georgia in the spring, where it rained for 9 days straight this month. No wonder our backyard is a bit overgrown! The good news is that the irises I scavenged from a fellow stitcher's yard last summer are blooming all over the place. I thought they didn't survive the transplanting process when the leaves all shriveled up in the heat last year, but fortunately I was wrong. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Hobbies and Hammies: January 2014

http://hobbiesandhammies.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 25, 2014. Due to postage going up again after this weekend, I motivated myself to get a few knit projects finished, washed, and mailed this week! The scarf was a lot of fun since I've been in a scarf mood lately. The co-worker in charge of the office's sponsored family for Christmas loved the scarves I made for the family. Maybe now is a good time to revisit the idea of starting my own Etsy. Shop since the temp job ended January 16th. Yarn Bee: Haute Fur in "Vineyard" knit together with.

Let's Plant a Library. A Fundraiser for a Canadian Children's Library in Ethiopia. February 14, 2013 by Shari. Happy Valentine’s Day! There is a fledgling library in Dukem:. There is a library opened for higher grades students in a small free-standing building on the Dukem Campus. At the moment it is being used for older students to study in. There are a few Ethiopia Reads donated books there. There has also been some training done for Teacher/Librarians, but attendance has been spotty. In terms of ongoi...

Growing A Life

Thursday, May 03, 2012. Once more now, with should-haves. More than two years. That's how long it has taken me to come to somewhat peaceful terms with Fly and his PDD-NOS diagnosis. Pervasive Development Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. So, he has autism but it doesn't fit the typical autism mold. So mild, the diagnosing physician told JP and me, that in a few years no one would probably know. And we don't medicate. A very frustrating edge to live on. I have learned so much the past two years. I wis...
