Sisters in Seattle: January 2015
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. Let the Lights Shine. I don’t think I ever get tired of Christmas lights. Before the internet, I used to scour the newspapers for articles that talked about the best displays in town and I would map out my plans to go see them all. Nowadays you see someone post something on Facebook and there you go! That’s what happened to my favorite house we found this year- the Seahawks house. Another nearby house we visited on the way home from that was Binary Christmas. And since I didn&...

Sisters in Seattle: December 2014
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Here Comes Santy Claus. And here we go with my month of posts about Christmas while I use January to catch up, hopefully! Let’s start with the big guy. It’s always fun for me to get the Santa pictures. Not because I’m Santa obsessed or anything. I’m actually surprised that they do still believe in Santa but I think we proved that true with Cassie’s On Star story. Anyhow, I’ve mentioned before that I love the Santa pictures. They posted this ideas album. I ended with four poses:.

Monday, June 29, 2015. The Show Must Go On. Today’s post is an assortment of the pictures from the many plays, shows and ballets we’ve attended this year. I’ve been taking the girls to these events since they were very young. And this year decided to finally splurge on some big productions. It was perfect timing with the Paramount offering a package deal for three kid friendly shows: Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. End of a Season. Plays even though they do some odd a...

Sisters in Seattle: Hit Summer Films
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2015/07/hit-summer-films.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? We’re having a great summer but I’m keeping more than busy with adventures, projects, unexpected obligations on top of work, camps, conferences and more. In all my free time I’ve been redoing my entire photo library, moving to a new backup system and even editing some videos to share with all of you! I used to share videos quarterly, then a few times a year which eventually moved to yearly but now I’m lucky to look at them at all. Here’s a vari...

Sisters in Seattle: June 2014

Thursday, June 26, 2014. School’s Out For Summer! This could also be called the 2013 school roundup and be prepared for more than a lot of pictures since I haven’t shared school fun since I talked about school, work and fun. In 2013. Well, yesterday was the last day of school even though it feels like I just took these 1st Day of PreK. I tried replicating them in the same place before school today but Cassie simply wasn’t having it. They loved the trike-a-thon. Even on a rainy day. Mr Aldo makes great f...

Sisters in Seattle: April 2015
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. This weekend was time for Cassie’s turn. Also similar to last year. Cassie seemed to manage to extend her day into a bit more than one day because she’s sly like that. Here was the run down of her requests:. Restaurant chosen before she changed her mind:. Color of the Day:. Bacon (she was supposed to pick a fruit but was apparently distracted by the fact that her meal would contain bacon. I completely understand how this is possible). Actual Restaurant we went to:. The cruise we ...

Sisters in Seattle: Ballerinas and Bumblebees
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2015/08/spring-seems-to-be-our-main-sporting.html
Thursday, August 13, 2015. Spring seems to be our main sporting season. We have the fewest vacations during that time, the weather is usually cruddy so we gravitate towards something indoors then we move right into Daddy’s favorite sport which is also America’s favorite pastime. There are a few action shots of Cassie jumping and toe pointing. Not that she doesn’t do that every single day. Her dancing shots look more like she’s stretching in my opinion. Then this is everything else. Literally. Baseball wa...

Sisters in Seattle: I Love My Flip!
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2009/12/i-love-my-flip.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. I Love My Flip! If you have no idea what to get your loved one for Christmas, or need a hint to start dropping to your in-laws, I know exactly what you need: A FLIP. Also to note - another reason why I'm posting so many videos is for the Grandparents. Papa T was released from the hospital and is home today! He is back to his computer and able to spend some quality time watching super cute vids of his grand kids. We'll find out on Tuesday if he'll be able to make the trip to...

Sisters in Seattle: August 2014
http://sistersinseattle.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Each year I like to pick a road trip of a local beachy destination to visit as a family. I kind of got a two in one this year by going to Idaho and having a long weekend trip to Lake Chelan. It also worked out that Grammy had nothing going on in the month so she got to fill the empty seat in our car! I wish we got over to the museum area in time! My favorite part was the flag shaped flower bed but I guess the view of the dam and museum was pretty cool, too. I made the not-so-s...
