In Memoriam: George S. Rumbold. Dedicated to the memory of my brother George who departed on November 13, 2007 in a tragic accident on Haddad Road in Seymour, CT. Monday, December 31, 2007. After Christmas I begin to feel compelled to follow the investigation into the cause of the accident. Some may say that I am doing this as a way to grieve. There is probably some truth to that. Nevertheless, as events unfold over the coming year I become more convinced that the Lord has set me to this task.

My Letter to Sergeant Parratt, Seymour Police Department. Please forgive my comments below. I am not trying to second guess your investigation into the death of my brother George. John G. Rumbold. Tuesday, November 08, 2011. Seeking God in Our Suffering. Wise Prophets in every age observe that God rarely finds people useful to His purposes who have not been broken by life. John G. Rumbold. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Who Says Police Officers Don't Care! I get irritated when people come down on our police officers, saying that they don't care. Well, here is a story that shows not all of them are in that category. The Altus OK Sheriff's office reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the Red River 1-1/2 miles south of the turnpike bridge . The dead man's name would not be released until his family had been notified. Police officers don’t care! View my complete profile.

Observations on recently read books. Monday, 3 June 2013. Books read in May. Secret Water – Arthur Ransome. Finally there is the innocence. It is not fey or naïve, it is what kids should be. And given that book was written on the eve of the second world war, it must have been at the back of Ransome’s mind that the Walker children had a father who was serving in the Royal Navy. However, this is fun and I love them. A Hearse On May Day – Gladys Mitchell. Daughter Of Dreams – Michael Moorcock. Weaving real ...
