Many high winds are blowing tree branches, leaves, and recycling bins all over the place. The Southern Illinois airport (KMDH) is reporting 27kt winds gusting to 49kts! There is minimal rain but it’s definitely very wet outside. Our power has gone off several times today. Recycling Bin blown across the street!

I made the mistake of riding my bike home at the apparent height of the downpour yesterday around 6 pm. I have never been out in harder rain in my life. I could barely see to ride.
