Today we went to the Tactic market to buy some fruit and veggies. 1 Pineapple, 1 Papaya, 4 Mangos, 2 Large Avacados, 4 Onions,. 2 Cucumbers, 2 Limes, 1 pound of Potatoes, and 3 small bulbs of garlic all for 44.5 Quetzals. We paid a little more than the people here would because we are Gringos. Our cost.approximately. 600 We had the avacados with our supper and the papaya for dessert. mmmmm the best yet! Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Loading Supplies for Guatemala. On Friday, August 6th we loaded supplies from our storage container onto a U-Haul. These supplies were then taken to Canmore, Alberta by Rocky and Karren Chupa. Once there they will be loaded onto a shipping container along with some kitchen supplies that have been donated to Impact Ministries.
