How to find us. We are located just off of Highway 1 (about 1 km off the main road) near Vik village in the South of Iceland. Directions from Vk village:. Leave Vk heading to Reykjavk on Highway 1. After about 15 km, turn right into Steigarvegur road. Guesthouse Steig is at the end of that road (about 1 km). View on map. Directions from Hvolsvllur village. Note that we are open all year except December and January and advance bookings are required from September 16th to May 1st.

High quality bedding with silk-damask duvet- and pillow-covers, a blanket and, of course, nice and soft towels. 6 rooms with hand basins in the older part of the house. One common-area living room with a TV plus a spacious kitchen is available for all guests to use. A computer with Internet access is available for guests to use. Dinner is offered for guests during the summertime if booked in advance.

Á laugardaginn næsta 27.6 er ætlunin að merkja nokkrar gönguleiðir inn á Höfðabrekkuafrétti. Þetta er verkefni sem ferðafélagið tók að sér í fyrra fyrir Mýrdalshrepp og er það liður í að fjármagna endurbyggingu Deildarárskóla.
