Chainmaille Jewelry: August 2009
http://guineverelynn.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Cut-Offs - Bad quality can equal good style! 2:40 PM Edit This. This cute little thing is made from a weave called Half Persian. I can whip one of these out in about ten minutes. Made with rubber rings, it's a perfectly simple bracelet that can be dressed up or down. What makes this bracelet different from others made of this weave is the supplies. And the explanation begins with one of my personal policies. I think it adds a touch of something different to the bracelet. Wow, it...

Chainmaille Jewelry: Two reasons...
http://guineverelynn.blogspot.com/2009/09/two-reasons.html
View my complete profile. 8:24 PM Edit This. You should go buy that item you've been eying from my etsy store right now. As I've mentioned, my mother and I will be selling our work this weekend. This means that there are no guarantees your favorite item will still belong to me on Monday! I'll be setting my store to vacation mode early in the morning on Saturday, then all bets are off. I am, of course, hoping I'll be a smashing success, so I'm hoping I'll be nearly sold out by the end of the weekend.
Chainmaille Jewelry: It's officially fall
http://guineverelynn.blogspot.com/2009/09/blog-post.html
View my complete profile. 7:06 PM Edit This. For me, these picnics always mark the true beginning of fall, and the "school" season. What special event tells you that it's really autumn? Yes, I still go to camp. First, apologies for the lack of post on Friday. M. Rainbow garden blogger template. Originally by web hosting geeks.
Chainmaille Jewelry: Yes, I still go to camp.

View my complete profile. Yes, I still go to camp. 7:13 PM Edit This. Although this will probably be my last year, unfortunately. What camp? It's called Not-Back-to-School Camp. (NBTSC) As the name suggests, it's aimed at homeschoolers and unschoolers. (Unschooling is a kind of homeschooling which is very loose, and really lets the kid do what they want. It's how I was raised.) It's run by Grace Llewellyn, who's rather famous in the home- and unschooling world. I'm starting to pack now, since the only ot...

I've written a number of personal finance articles. As well as articles on a variety of other topics. I'm working on a few Lesson Plans/Unit Study Guides b. Ect them in a book. Summer 2010 Kni...
AlysaMerle: July 2009
http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. So, it's time to catch up! I'm going to write up my experiences with writing, and other ways to earn money online, in several posts. I never thought of myself as a writer, but I'm often told that I have good ideas. My mother always encouraged me to write about some of my experiences, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. This post will be a general one about writing online. In subsequent posts I'll give more detail about each site. How do you make money? How much money can you make?
AlysaMerle: May 2010
http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. Thinking about my mother. Life is inherently messy, complicated, cross-wired, an endless negotiation between interior and exterior, between the environment in which a human or an animal lives and its physiological and neurological state.". My mother wrote this in one of her notebooks. She kept a record of phrases and quotes to use later when she was writing. Born in 1917, my mother passed away in 2004 at the age of 87. For many years, she journalled. Originally entitled "Emptying th...
AlysaMerle: January 2009
http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. After discussing plarn creations with people on Etsy, I decided to play a bit with colors and shapes. I used patterns for crocheted motifs. The two in the following picture are just the centers of motifs. I'm thinking of using these to make magnets, pins or key chains. Giving these out will give people a chance to see and feel what plarn is like. I haven't decided how to use these yet. Links to this post. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. I discussed how I make the plarn. In choosing...
AlysaMerle: Charity Knitting: The Mother Bear Project
http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2009/08/charity-knitting-mother-bear-project.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Charity Knitting: The Mother Bear Project. I just published a new article about The Mother Bear Project. Knit or crochet a bear to go to a child with HIV/Aids - this looks like a fun project. My plan is to periodically feature a charity product. There are so many wonderful causes to donate to. It's a win-win activity, you get to enjoy making something for someone who needs it. What a great feeling - you know that you're project is being loved. Labels: Boston Knitting Examiner.
AlysaMerle: The New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival
http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2010/05/new-hampshire-sheep-and-wool-festival.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. The New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival. Yesterday, my daughter Jen took me to the New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival for Mother's Day. The one hour drive was delightfully spent chatting with my daughter, I was knitting, she was driving. Bright and sunny, it was a chilly, windy day. Many people commented about the cold, but I was much happier with a cool day than a hot and muggy one. I had already written an article about the Festival. Although there were lots of tempting items...

http://alysamerle.blogspot.com/2009/08/happy-birthday-jen-and-olin-college.html
Sunday, August 2, 2009. And Olin College Open House. Today is my daughter's 19th Birthday! Boy, does time fly. Birthdays can be bittersweet for moms. It's so wonderful to watch our children grow and thrive, but I sometimes miss the little girl. My youngest daughter and I went to visit Olin College today. They had an open house for prospective women students. I posted an article yesterday called " Acquiring knitting needles and yarn without spending a lot of money. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

These shadows of memory tell, indistinctly, of tall figures that lifted and bore me in silence down- down- still down- till a hideous dizziness oppressed me at the mere idea of the interminableness of the descent. They tell also of a vague horror at my heart, on account of that heart's unnatural stillness. Then comes a sense of sudden motionlessness throughout all things; as if those who bore me (a ghastly train! Had outrun, in their descent, the limits of the limitless, … -E.A.P. O Godot, Godot! Quarta-feira, 21 de junho de 2017. A visão, ou experiência-de-quase-morte, vivida pelo psiquiatra Carl Jung. Em 1944, descrita por ele mesmo.
