Experiences with the GNX3K unit. Friday, 2 May 2008. I started up my unit yesterday and X-Edit as well and guess what happened. There were no sound when I played back some music on my notebook. Fortunately I've read this thread. So I was read with the sollution. Q I know I'm recording something (level meters move, you see audio data recorded) but I don't hear anything. To sum it up if you are using 24bit depth which is recommended with GNX. Then it is good the have your PEAKs around -12dBFS. An other good article can be found on soundonsound. Experiences with the GNX3K unit. Saturday, 3 May 2008. Yesterday I've got a newsletter from andertons and what a hell! They dropped (official reason: unit discontinued). The price with 20 quid so I phoned them up because I'm in the full refund period (you can take back the unit with no reason an get a full refund).
