Even though this summer is much cooler and wetter there, a high pressure system is baking much of Texas and eastward. The lakes spillway is full to the brim. Waterfall at Inn of the Mountain Gods. It was a loud roar of falling water. Sierra Blanca, Mescalero Lake and the links. Folks enjoying the Flying J Ranch.

Thursday, May 21, 2015. Is located inside our wonderful San Angelo State Park and a healthy lake will make for an even livelier state park. OC Fisher Lake was bone dry a couple days ago. Now it is alive. Red Tip Yucca blooming. A cooler and wetter spring has really made the state park a nice place to visit and camp. Hikers and bicyclists are sure to visit the park over the Memorial Day holiday weekend and things are gearing up for a nice welcome. Thistles in bloom along with LYF. Make it a great day!
