Term 3 – Poverty. Term 4 – Escape to Kalimantan. Term 4 – Escape to Kalimantan. On Sunday 28 April 1996, a 28-year-old man called Martin Bryant killed 35 people and injured 23 people at the tourist resort, Port Arthur in Tasmania, Australia. It was a killing spree by using automatic rifles. His motive is still vague but from the fact that he told his neighbor he would do something that will make people remember him, his action was to gather attention and to impressed on everyone’s memory.
