Website maintained by webmaster. Amongst us there are 3 First Class divers, 2 National Instructors, 5 Advanced Instructors, 11 Advanced Divers and 8 Open Water Instructors. This gives us access to a vast knowledge base and practical experience which allows the club to provide training to the highest standards and grades affiliated with BSAC. We arrange sea dives at least once a week during March to September. Pool training and theory lessons for new trainees primarily run from September to March.

The Gwynedd Branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club was first established in 1959 by a group of about 6 spearfishers who wanted to be part of a formal group after an accident in the water at Porth Ysgadan. The Club is number 71 of the British Sub-Aqua Club. The group hired hard boats for diving and used an Avon inflatable with a 3 HP engine. The Club was approached in 2010 by a local film production company, Cwmni-Da, to take part in a series of programmes filming the change of the seasons on the Menai Straits. The series ' Y Fenai. Was broadcast on S4C in four episodes depicting each season on the Menai Straights. Our Club featured in the 4th episode about Summer activities on the Straights.
