Building a Tiger Cat E1. My blog on building a Tiger Cat E1. Not quite or perhaps almost? I’ll post a picture soon. What is certain is that the SVA now IVA is going to cause a few headaches! Serves me right for taking so long to complete. Anyway, have moved again and the Tiger has now been moved 8 times but is now, definitely, in the best garage it has ever been in. Also the kids are a bit older so no more excuses. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. From your own site. On Bra...

Garage (almost) on fire! | Building a Tiger Cat E1
https://kitcate1.wordpress.com/2006/08/24/garage-almost-on-fire
Building a Tiger Cat E1. My blog on building a Tiger Cat E1. Garage (almost) on fire! It hadn’t caught fire yet but there was definitely getting very hot and smelly and the light had gone off as well. I normally leave batteries to charge overnight which is maybe not such a good thing to do and in this case I was very lucky not to have set the garage on fire! That would have been a really bad ending to a long build. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. From your own site. H ...

Build status | Building a Tiger Cat E1
https://kitcate1.wordpress.com/2006/08/23/build-status
Building a Tiger Cat E1. My blog on building a Tiger Cat E1. Where am I now? The last thing I did was fit the rear panel but this may or may not have to be refitted again as the wheels are very close to the body. The panels are flexible though so I might get away with it. Ultimate goal is to fit everything needed to get the engine up and running this year! Looking forward to hearing the Cat come alive although the neighbours may disagree with me. Building a Tiger Cat E1. My blog on building a Tiger Cat E1. Putting it all together again. Fortunately I managed to fit the rest without much damage and the right way up. Fitting the new valve springs and collets was a fairly straightforward job. They weren’t fitted straight at first but you can still move them into place after fitten them. Used plenty of cam lube to fit the Kent FR31 mild road camshaft. I did notice that the bit that holds the pulley in place is missing. I could be cheeky and just carr...
