H44PT: My last operations as H44PT were March / April 2000. Prior to going to Solomon Islands I had been very active on OSCAR satellites as G8BCG. In fact, I was fortunate to hear the beacon from the very first OSCAR in the early 60s at the North West VHF Group in Manchester. Oscar 10 was launched into an orbit that really favoured my location - virtually the whole northern hemisphere was available to me when the bird was near my horizon to the north. CQ Oscar from H44PT.
