The majority of the children who attend Habari Njema Hope School come from broken families where poverty and malnourishment play a key role. Habari Njema is in desperate need of help, both in the form of money and volunteers. This blog is an attempt to raise awareness of the school and hopefully attract future volunteers and donators.

Habari Njema Hope School. Sunday, 12 December 2010. The teachers at Habari Njema came up with the idea of growing crops at the school compound. The amount of crops grown often depends on whether the school can afford seeds and also the weather. Simple foods such as beans and maize are grown. The children at the school regularly attend the crops and prepare the land. They have to cut the grass with scythes and help make stone partitions out of pebbles and rocks. Habari Njema Hope School. Saturday, 11 December 2010. I have been told over email from Esther that a new group of Italians have donated money towards building work within the school compound! Their money is going towards a new stone classroom and hopefully a stone kitchen too! 21 July 2016 at 23:40. Hi we thank God for the blessings showering to habari njema.we now have 6 stone classroom and dinning hall and abuild in play ground for the kinder,also electricity and plenty water .we say ASANTE SANA.

Habari Njema Hope School. Monday, 6 December 2010. Currently the school has only one concrete classroom. The others are made from tree branches and any spare wood or tin. The kitchen is a tiny wooden hut where the school meals are cooked. There is barely enough room to move around inside with the fire taking up most of the space. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Habari Njema Hope School. Monday, 6 December 2010. Habari Njema Hope School was set up in 2007 by Pastor Esther. She preaches at the church (which also serves as one of the main classrooms of the school) and she noticed the high numbers of children from surrounding areas who had received no education and had nothing to do all day. There wages are next to nothing but they continue to work at the school as the recognise how many children depend upon it.
