Receiver Niles Paul is part of the Redskins youth movement. Question: Has Washington’s record fallen to 3-3 because it’s the same old Redskins or are the Redskins simply experiencing an NFL season with typical ups and downs? Unfortunately, some fans are not in the frame of mind to wait and they seem to have f...

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Selvish Capers Addresses Speed in Redskins’ Backfield. The Washington Redskins wrapped up another series of player-run, player-only workouts this past week and, while there were not as many team members in attendance as the previous sessions, they worked just as hard. The 11-on-11 drills were well-organized and energetic. Host Lake Lewis talked offense with Redskins lineman Selvish Capers during his show Wednesday evening. At Finnegan's Sports Bar and Grill in Herndon, Va. 8220;He...

Friday, March 25, 2011. Former Redskin Frank Grant Offers Fitness Lesson from Back in the Day. Former Redskins wide receiver Frank Grant. Were there no lockout going on, many professional players would already be gearing up for formal team strength and conditioning programs/organized team activities (OTAs) or receiving injury treatment or rehab by trainers or team doctors. But I can’t see how these athletes can become as football-ready as they would if they were in a formal team environment. 8220;Even wh...

Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Washington Redskins: Shanahan’s Reformation Includes Veteran Mike Sellers. Human beings have a need to quantify and label. It makes things neater and easier to analyze. Since the beginning of the 2011 NFL season, fans and media have used the term “rebuild” to describe what head Coach Mike Shanahan is doing with the Washington Redskins. Losing a hard-working, long-time member of a team can cause locker-room chemistry to suffer and players to become disenchanted and wary to see that hard work taken for granted.

Monday, July 4, 2011. Washington Redskins: Thank You, Al Davis. Al Davis might have made my day. I’ve been tweeting about what a great birthday present it would be for me (it’s coming up soon) for the Washington Redskins to sign Oakland Raiders’ free agent (FA) cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha once the lockout is over. Reading Rich Langford’s piece on the. Silver and Black Pride. Reiterating why the owner of the Raiders may not be re-signing Asomugha. Just made me all the more optimistic that it could happen.
