Thursday, January 29, 2009. To nap, or not to nap? That is the question. January is almost over. Thank goodness! January has been a tough month at this household for the girls. We have been struggling with colds, temper tantrums and, hello, haven't we had enough white stuff already? True, winter is far from over, approximately 50 days or so, according to my sources. But there is light at the end of the tunnel; spring days and daffodils and less bone breaking cold. We need a break! I think I'm doing a goo...

Thursday, January 21, 2010. So when is good enough, good enough? Since last Feb., I've lost 50 pounds. Not in a healthy, let me get my life in order type of way, in a sad, hopeless, helpless way. Needless to say, the weight is gone, and I feel healthier and happier. Then came the holidays. I don't think so! My face freezes just walking from my car to work! Examination of everything that goes into my mouth and making sure equal parts come out, if need be. Sick. Did I eat too much? Can I get it all out?

Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Very significant in my life. But where does one person end the other begin? The tough one is this: how do you feel for a person that you care for without letting it affect your life? If I couldn't stay in a marriage because I felt that the other person's behaviours were morally questionable and may poorly affect my child and her sense of right and wrong, how can I continuously engage in things that I know are bad and could teach her the things that I so want to shelter her from?
