Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Neighborhood Family of Geese. It's kind of hard to see in this picture, but there is a family of geese that live at our neighborhood lake and they are just TOO precious! I took Jackson for a walk this morning, and I had to stop and take their picture. The mom was pretty upset that I stood there with my furry beast. She was squawking at me like she was saying, "You wanna go? I don't care how big you are, if you come near my babies, it's ON b* ch! That's one tough mama goose, eh?

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. We finally got a dusting of snow here the other day. I know all you out there who have been dealing with a horrible winter will cringe hearing me say this, but it was really nice looking out the window to a white world. :-). Jack loves it, too. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. On Saturday, Joe and I helped Stuart celebrate his 27th birthday. (His birthday was actually Monday, but we celebrated during the weekend.) Monday, November 24, 2008. Unfortunately (for me) this last weekend was Heidi's last weekend in D.C. She is headed back to Seattle Wednesday morning. It was sad to part with her last night - knowing I won't see her again for five months. I got spoiled having her so close! Joe, Stuart and I also went to the Museum of American History this weekend. Friday, May 1, 2009. Ava Wants Warm Weather. Last week, and especially last weekend, we had phenomenal weather. I'm talking in the 80s and 90s. It was awesome. Ava absolutely loved it!
