HamiFami: December 2014
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. We decided to travel for Christmas this year to see Aunt Sarah and cousin Violet. So, we got packed, and buckled in for the almost 800 mile adventure. It was in the 50s and raining (yes, I said raining at the end of December) in Snake Valley when we left. I think we traveled through all kinds of weather that day, including snow in parts of Utah and Colorado. Our first stop was to see a special someone at the care center in Delta, Utah. We made it to Cedar Crest, New Mexico!

HamiFami: September 2014
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. We had a big day ahead of us. The water was gentle enough that we could take Willow along and be safe with all the kids. We put our safety gear on, made sure we had enough food and drinks then had a nearby visitor take our picture :). I took all these photos with my phone camera as I didn't want to chance my nice one getting wet. It was great that we had the freedom to get in and out of the raft and swim when we wanted. What a relaxing float, in good company :). The first even...

HamiFami: Summer Swimming!
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015/08/summer-swimming.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. June was the hottest month where we had a couple of weeks of hardly any cloud cover and triple digits. For a few days it was actually 105! I was so grateful when July came around to give us some cloud cover. That made a huge difference. I don't complain about the 90's anymore! We were trying to keep ourselves hydrated too! Any means of getting hydrated ;) . Haha. We were able to get together with Gretchen, Matthew, and Emma a few times at their pond. In fact I know. We brought our...

HamiFami: "Surfed too Long"
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015/08/surfed-to-long.html
Tuesday, August 11, 2015. My dad bought me this skeleton statue in the year of 2002 when I was in massage school. He knew my fascination with the human body. I happened to be organizing a bookshelf and saw it. My eyes paused on it, and I couldn't help but chuckle, because I remember my dad's laugh when he gave it to me. It's funny because back in 2002 I couldn't relate to any computer/gadget addictions. But, here in 2015. all my kids would LOVE to play electronics all day if I let them! Yesterday is gone...

HamiFami: Weekend: Mt. Washington
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015/08/weekend-mt-washington.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Weekend: Mt. Washington. Mt Washington is one of my favorite places in Snake Valley (along with the table. I was thrilled when we scheduled a camping trip with friends. I anticipated returning; as it called my name for two years. You know how time gets away especially when you have your third kid ;). So, with an open mind, open heart, and hiking boots we set out to tackle the weekend and a couple of peaks while we were at it! Many, many years ago this part of the bristlecone f...

HamiFami: October 2014
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. Don't be confused when you look at these photos. They were taken around the first week of October. If these were updated, the leaves would be stripped from the trees. The only thing that hasn't changed much is the grass. Ha! Front yard (facing West). My Willow tree is very happy where it's at. It's grown much the last two years. That tree reminds me of our third kid ;). Yes, I got on the roof because that's how I roll). Haha. Not a great one, but it existed! How cute are they?

HamiFami: Weekend: Lincoln Peak
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015/08/weekend-lincoln-peak.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. So continued from our weekend camping trip up Mt. Washington (previous post), we got up the next morning to start another adventure. I was eager to set out and explore something new. We hiked through the forest; pine cones and dry needles crunched under our boots. It was overcast again, the temperatures started out very nice. Let's continue on. So glad we didn't talk ourselves out of it. We pressed on; that peak ahead poking through the trees was our destination. Lincoln Peak.

HamiFami: August 2015
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2015. With Ava and Isaac in school, Willow and I get more interaction one-on-one. She's so chatty now (knows well. Over a hundred words) and repeats everything like a parrot. She can count to 10. She also can sing the whole "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Best of all she can tell me what she wants. Communication is a grand thing ;). I'm not going to hold my breath and certainly not pressure her about it either. I know she'll do it when she wants to like everything else. We are brainst...

HamiFami: Small Mammal Trapping
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015/08/small-mammal-trapping.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. This post contains graphic photos. Not for faint of heart ;). Halfway through field season, the kids and I got a chance to see Bryan work with a small mammal research group from Utah University. They trap mice, shrews, rats, voles, etc. and process them to obtain information and learn more about the species. It's interesting and I learn more about scientific methods every year. This is a great group of people to be around too :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It began with 2.

HamiFami: July 2015
http://bjaihamilton.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Obviously they had the antiques; but Jon's Harley Davidson. Welded from metal was really original. He obtained a prize for that. My uncle Jon and his daughter Jessica :). Next to the car show in the park is one of the funnest swimming pools. We definitely took advantage of that! Willow is getting a lot of practice swimming this summer. Ava really wanted a hat (I got one too) and I thought it looked so great on her I couldn't resist. The evening was reserved for the fair. So, I'm...
