She's had a long and varied life, being involved in the Dunkirk rescue in WW2 as well as her time as a working lifeboat. Random stuff, badly written. Monday, 15 June 2015. Rhubarb and date chutney. And more chutney. This time I've borrowed a recipe from the BBC GoodFood website. Adapted to my cheapstake way of thinking. I've swapped red wine vinegar for malt (red wine vinegar sounds way too posh for me), cranberries/raisins for sultanas ('cos I don't care for raisins), fresh ginger for ground and light muscavado sugar for soft brown. Random stuff, badly written. Saturday, 2 July 2016. Old motors at the Warslow Beer Festival. Today I went down to Warslow for the annual beer festival fell race. Apart from the beer one of the attractions was a display of classic cars and tractors. Having a bit of time to kill before the race started I took out the camera and snapped away;.
