15世紀時，庫肯霍夫（Keukenhof）這個地方原本是一位女伯爵Countess Jacoba van Beieren的狩獵領地，當時女伯爵在後院種植了蔬果草藥等烹調食用的植物，而將這個地方命名為Keukenhof。所以庫肯霍夫在荷蘭文的原義是：「廚房花園」，也就是「keuken(廚房)」與「hof (花園)」兩個字合起來的意思。 一直到1949年，一群來自麗絲(Lisse)的花農為創造一個開放空間式的花卉展覽場地，於是計畫將庫肯霍夫這個地方規劃成可以讓花朵自然生長、吐蕊的花園，而後來參加的花卉業團體越來越多，花卉的種類也因這些人的投入，培育出更多的品種。每年9月底至初霜來臨之前，庫肯霍夫公園會種下7百萬顆不同花種的球莖，其中鬱金香就有約1,000多種，在花農的細心照料照顧下，以期待隔年春天一片片花海，數百萬花朵齊綻放爭、奇鬥艷的壯觀美景。 以上 copy and paste 自 http:/ www.holland.idv.tw/. 結果排左成個鐘隊先至迫到上巴士、路上又大塞車、原本 35 分鐘既車程變左個幾鐘. 今天有一個北京奧運的 theme、倒數重有 104 日.

2008-04-23 Leuven (盧萬)、Brussels (布魯塞爾). 吃過早餐、離開了感覺一般的 Kooyk Hotel. 從 Amsterdam Central Station 到 Brussels Central Station、大約需 2 小時 45 分鐘、即照原定計畫的在 1pm 到達. 這個 Central Station 沒 Amsterdam 那個的有規範. 在大堂沒有甚麼 tour info counter、也沒有地圖. 算了、走出去看看吧. 在街道旁終於發現了一塊街道圖、便掏出酒店地址看看、但怎麼找呀找呀、也找不到 Brusselstraat (大概中譯是布魯塞爾街吧). 明明上網 book 酒店的時候、這家 Brusselstraat 上的 Ibis Hotel 就在 Central Station 附近呀! 回火車站看看有沒有職員可問問吧. 有喎、重幾後生英俊添. 一問之下. 不是吧! 這兒並沒有布魯塞爾街呀、你們這個地址、是在 Leuven、是另外一個城市呀". 附近的 Sint-Pieters kerk (聖彼得教堂) 內. 坐在旁邊桌子的老伯很好人、原...

2008-04-25 Zaans Schans (桑斯安斯). 今天去的、是 Zaans Schans 的風車村. 首先、當然是收拾行李和 check out. 比來的時候、多了一大袋比利時朱古力. 買早餐 (甜甜的 apple pie)、乘巴士去火車站. 差不多 3 小時回到 Amsterdam 的 Schiphol Airport、就在 Schiphol 外面等去 Ibis Airport 的 shuttle bus. 如不繞道的話、很快便到達. 這家 Ibis、比 Leuven 那間大許多. 放低行李、立即出發. 這張照片、可以證明朱古力確實曾經存在、只是回港後溶哂、才沒有手信. 回 Schiphol 乘車去 Koog Zanndijk 火車站. 在機場買 Burger King 和 Starbuck's 上車當午餐. 正準備開餐、咦, 平時火車很準時啊、怎麼今次早成超過 5 分鐘開車? 之前已經發生過一次搭錯車和 book 錯酒店、現在又來、實在忍不住發了一會牢騷! 跟著路牌指示、很快便到 Zaan 桑河. 但怎麼不見了旅遊書上寫的橋? 2008-04-22 鹿特丹 (Rotterdam)、小孩堤防 (Kinderdijk)、烏德勒支 (Utrechet). Rotterdam (鹿特丹) 是荷蘭第二大城市、在阿姆斯特丹西南方、亦是荷蘭三大班霸之一的飛燕諾 (Feyenoord) 的根據地. 老實說、我常常口快快地把鹿特丹說成飛燕諾. 今天的打算是 Rotterdam - 小孩堤防 (Kinderdijk) - 烏德勒支 (Utrechet) - Kasteel De Haar (德哈爾古堡). 又是例牌地在 Kooyk Hotel 吃早餐、先來一杯燈汁、再來兩塊多士夾幾片火腿芝士、最後喝一杯茶. 呀、今晚是最後一晚住 Kooyk Hotel 了. 再次坐電車去 Amsterdam Central Station. 轉乘 IC 去 Rotterdam Central Station.
