Off the Hook :: cosy stripe blanket | handmade & home
http://www.handmadeandhome.com.au/crochet/off-the-hook-cosy-stripe-blanket
Tutorials & Patterns. Off the Hook : cosy stripe blanket. Another finished blanket to share! This time I used the lovely Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8ply. Again – a similar colour palette to the Solid Minty Crochet Blanket. But omitting the ‘lake’ and adding ‘lotus’ which is a beautiful ‘new for 2015’ coral-orange colour. I had intended to make this blanket up in the classic granny stripe, but at the last moment decided to try out the Cosy Stripe pattern from Attic24. I absolutely love it! Currently I&#...

Make it Monday :: patchwork cushion cover for beginners! | handmade & home
http://www.handmadeandhome.com.au/cushion/make-it-monday-patchwork-cushion-cover-for-beginners
Tutorials & Patterns. Make it Monday : patchwork cushion cover for beginners. Our youngest starts full days at Kindy soon, and they were asked to take along a square cushion for rest times. I still had a small supply of ‘I Spy’ fabrics leftover from my ‘I Spy’ quilt many moons ago, so I sewed up a simple patchwork cushion for Lucas to take along. I thought I would document the process in case you’d like to make one too! Cushion insert: available in lots of different sizes from your local craft store.

Tutorials & Patterns. Archive of ‘Crochet’ category. Off the Hook : pastel baby girl ripple. Just as I was deciding what to start work on next after the mammoth custom order was finished – another order arrived with perfect timing. This blanket was to be for a baby girl, and together we chose these beautiful muted colours from Bendigo Woollen Mills. 8211; Baby Pink, Ghost and Cream and decided on the Neat Ripple pattern from Attic24. Even though it was only 3 colours, it was most enjoyable to crochet up!

Tutorials & Patterns. Today you can find me guest posting over on the NoteMaker. I’ve put together a DIY post: Six (wrapping) ways with washi tape. Using some fantastic MT Washi Tapes – with some good old fashioned brown paper and string. It was a lot of fun to put together! If you pop over for a look, have a browse of their online stationery store – so much to see. I really do love stationery….almost as much as yarn 😉. Posted in Paper Craft. You might also like. The Birds In the Bush. The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To n. Urture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul. Alfred Austin. Wednesday, 28 January 2015. The vegetable garden mid-summer. The first bed has tomatoes, basil, zucchini, cucumber, and Jerusalem artichoke. I am not sure what is going on with the tomatoes, quite a lot of the branches. Are dying off and the tomatoes don't seem to want to ripen on the bushes. Looking forward to some pesto.

Mark, Ev and Kara. Laquo; Little Miss Kara. I’m Ev and I have a Thermomix… ;). On May 26, 2013. On Friday the 17th of May my brother and his beautiful wife were blessed with the most adorable little boy who they called Michael Ernest…. Meeting bubby Michael…. Kara had lots of kisses and cuddles for her brand new cousin! Michael showed bubby Michael to Kara and she promptly sat down on the floor and put her arms out for a cuddle… so cute! Isn’t he gorgeous! 🙂 Love him so much already! Little bit of thyme.

Sunday, 28 August 2016. A cold weekend and new trees. Last week we had a couple of very cold nights down to -2 and the frost has burnt all the green shoots on the mulberry tree. The Casuarina or she-oak trees indigenous to this area from a distance all look like they are dying. The trees covered in pollen. It seems to like t...

One rabbit two chooks. Mother’s day classic. A moment of madness. I have just decided to do something that I have never done before and never thought that I would EVER do. I have committed to run 4km in the Mother’s Day Classic on the 11th of May! I have no idea why I would do such a crazy thing, but there it is. And now that I have made it public, I guess there is no turning back. I have about 117 days to get fit and most importantly, learn how to run! January 14, 2014. View Full Profile →. There is no ...

summer | one rabbit two chooks
https://onerabbittwochooks.com/tag/summer
One rabbit two chooks. Today it was ridiculously hot. 42 degrees! In fact it is still hot. As I sit here typing at 10:45pm, it is still 30 degrees. And tomorrow is only going to be worse with a predicted top of 44. I am not a huge fan of summer and would rather it be Autumn all year round when you have beautiful days and nights cool enough to be able to sleep comfortably. If nothing else they all had fun and I managed to keep them happy for a little while, until the arguing started about who splashed who.

Preventing Rescue Pup’s Bad Behavior. February 25, 2015. March 4, 2015. Please tell me other people have the same problem I do. There is something about a vulnerable thing that can’t fend for itself that hits me right in the soft spot of my heart. That quality causes me to do anything and everything, sometimes over and above what is considered reasonable, to remove them from their situation or protect them from any further hardship. Also, just look at that face…. Continue reading →. February 20, 2015.
