Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Rube don't know; Rube's weird. Dad took Thea to Crown Center on a Saturday afternoon to see Santa. Dad needs his head examined. Thea was very good however and braved the two hour line to see Santa. Afterwards Thea enjoyed taking some test drives. We promised Thea that for her birthday we would take her on a carriage ride on the Plaza. We all bundled up and braved the cold so that Thea could be a princess for the evening. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Thea's First Trip to the K. Thea got her first heaping spoonful of heartbreak that is the Kansas City Royals. That is, we took Thea to her first game at Kauffman Stadium. Zack the Legomaniac couldn't even stave off the futility on the diamond by the Boys in Blue but Deeks had a great time nevertheless. She was more interested in the Crown Vision than the game itself.
