http://hannahdove.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html
Perrot Park-Postcards from the Ledge. Friday, May 27, 2016. New T-Shirt at Perrot. Do you remember the summer vacations taken in the family car. Kids piled in the back seat, with not enough room to move. Playing travel games and frequently stopping for bathrooms. The long journeys were punctuated with "Are We There Yet? Repeatedly answered by, "Another 15 Minutes", just to keep us quiet. New t-Shirt at Perrot. Safe travels this Memorial Weekend. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Here's a little ...

Salmon at Olivers Wine Bar. Red Wing Pottery Museum. Bloody's at the Bar. Villa Marie Center FOR SALE. Another surprise find was th...

Perrot Park-Postcards from the Ledge. Monday, December 19, 2016. Tailgaiting for Life at the Pearl Street Brewery in La Crosse Wisconsin. Housed in the old Rubber Mills Factory the local brewery was the ideal spot for the most unforgettable tailgating party as a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. The big game of Packers against the Bears and lots of delicious food provided by many generous local businesses and those willing to join in the Tail Gate Cook-off. Life in a canned ham: Quiet Times at the Campground
http://lifeinacannedham.blogspot.com/2015/07/quiet-times-at-campground.html
We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Quiet Times at the Campground. It was a quiet weekend at our campsite. Left Brain went for a bike ride and I went to smack the pickleball around the court for a while on Saturday. After coming home it was time for a little clean up and shower before they arrived. It's always fun to see this crazy bunch and share family time with them. It was awkward to say the least as this verged on being pornogr...
Life in a canned ham: Summer Days in Minnesota
http://lifeinacannedham.blogspot.com/2015/08/summer-days-in-minnesota.html
We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Summer Days in Minnesota. It's been hot and humid this summer, just the way it should be in the Midwest. It makes me miss the west again with it's dry air. Oh well.keep calm and carry on! I was stunned into silence (not an easy feat) as both of these guys grinned at me. Note to self: don't wear white shorts while playing pickleball. She's right, however. It is more of a cackle. Hmmm, now that I t...

Life in a canned ham: September 2014
http://lifeinacannedham.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Monday, September 29, 2014. It was a nice clear day, so we set off to visit the Olympic National Park. On the way we noticed this Elk Crossing sign was flashing, indicating one was nearby but we never saw it. We went through a series of tunnels on our way up the hill. I can't believe the number of people who were biking up here. There are some very fit people in this area. One of the many mule deer we encountered. This ...
Life in a canned ham: Pickleball League
http://lifeinacannedham.blogspot.com/2015/08/pickleball-league.html
We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I was asked to join the Andover pickleball league for a game in Eden Prairie and I figured 'what the heck' and signed up. This necessitated leaving about 5:00 for a one hour drive to the courts with a group who were carpooling. We got there just in time to use the porta-potty and warm up a bit. I've never seen such phenomenal playing! It was very late by the time I got back to my RV. Left ...

We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Monday, March 30, 2015. I spent some time yesterday learning about Google Maps and Blogger and all the fun things one can do with them. I'm working on making a map of our travels for this season on a new site I found called Roadmappers.com. I'm hoping to shake up the blog a bit with a new header and some other features, so if this works let me know what you think. Long Live the Traveling Queen. Links to this post. When ...
Life in a canned ham: Next Year...Medicare!
http://lifeinacannedham.blogspot.com/2015/07/next-yearmedicare.html
We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Friday, July 31, 2015. Summer has been a busy time here in our neck of the woods, running to and fro with the family. Our outing last Tuesday with the girls was to Victor's 1959 Cafe where meals are prepared with a Cuban theme. The decor is eclectic and everything is covered with graffiti. The kids enjoyed adding their "mark" where ever they could find a spot faded enough to write over. While I was running around from s...

We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Death of My Kindle. I'd noticed lately that my Kindle Fire seemed to run out of battery frequently, even though I generally read with it still plugged in This had been going on for a while and I finally decided to check the internet to see if others have had problems. He explained that a new one would be shipped out to me on Monday and it should arrive by Wednesday. I am to use the same box and...

We are full timers traveling around the country with our two cats, George and Gracie. Thursday, October 30, 2014. My first attempt at playing with the Good Fences. I sure hope this works. This is not technically a fence, but rather marks the edge to alert people from falling over the sides. But it was kind of like a fence and if this attempt to join the meme works.I'll do better next time. Jeanplease let me know if this was done correctly and if not, what I'm doing wrong. Long Live the Queen. While on a ...
