Hannah Nunn: Meadow Grass Wallpaper
http://hannahnunn.blogspot.com/2015/07/meadow-grass-walllpaper.html
Monday, 27 July 2015. Took some photo's of the Meadow Grass. It's such a delicate design, The colours are so soft. We papered next to white skirting and floor boards to give a better idea of the subtle blue and silver. Here you can see how the light picks up the silver metallic. It is so pretty. My dear boy Ollie enjoyed posing for the Oatmeal and Blush. The wallpaper looks really cosy in the glow of a lamp too and how well do the Anna Wiscombe. Wooden flowers go with it? I just love her work. Featured i...

Hannah Nunn: August 2015

Tuesday, 25 August 2015. Today was my lovely ninety-four year old Grandads funeral. It's been a really special day, getting together with all the family and honoring his life. It's been lovely to see old photos and hear lots of stories about his life. Look at this picture. My Grandad is the one in the middle row on the right with the ears and the wonky hair cut. My Granny is second in on the bottom left. They have known each other since they were this small! 8220;It’s hard not knowing when I will s...

Hannah Nunn: September 2014
http://hannahnunn.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, 15 September 2014. When you live in the valley bottom it's good to get out on the tops and yesterday my top dwelling friend Karen took me on one of her walks around Gorple reservoir. Trudging and talking is always a good way to catch up with a friend. These weather beaten reservoir gate posts were such good colours. There's not many tree's up there on the moors which made this big old beech tree stand out majestically. These stone pathways are so satisfying to walk on. Posted by Hannah Nunn.

Thursday, 23 April 2015. Today it's production day at the factory. As I write, my new Meadow Grass design will be winding it's way around this printing machine with all it's pretty colours being siphoned out of big buckets and troughs. I'm not there to see it in person this time but I remember the thrill of it well :). Posted by Hannah Nunn. Tuesday, 21 April 2015. Look at these lovely faces. Meet Matey, Rossi and Iliya from Bulgaria. She always finds the time to say something thoughtful and I love that.

Hannah Nunn: March 2015
http://hannahnunn.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 March 2015. I spent yesterday in the wallpaper factory trying out colours for my new Meadow Grass wallpaper. My friend Natalie has a great eye for colour and I am so glad she came with me. The new design has a background colour and two more colours in the grasses so there were all sorts of possible combinations. Communicating what you have in your head is a tricky job and as I discovered last visit colour is extremely hard to pin down and hard to describe. The delicate grasses began to sing!

Tuesday, 10 February 2015. Aira Flexuosa (wavy hair grass to you and me). Tomorrow the lovely people from the wallpaper factory are coming to my studio to talk about my next design. They come and have a look at how best they can print it before going away and etching the gravure cylinders. I'm not going to show you the finished design quite yet but it features my favourite grass - so beautiful and delicate. A lot of it back in the summer (oh summer, come back soon). Aira Flexuosa. Tuesday, 28 October 2014. An inspiring afternoon with Lesley Jackson. I just love it when my work takes me to interesting places. Today it took me to the beautiful house of curator, writer and design historian Lesley Jackson who it has been an honour to meet. Lesley got in touch because she wanted to use some of my lamps in her holiday home which she has been lovingly restoring up on the tops. She invited me up for a look. What a place!
