12288;さて、２００１年５月１１日、熊本地裁は、ハンセン病患者に対する絶対隔離を規定した「らい予防法」は違憲であるとして、国に賠償を命ずる判決を下しました。これをもって国のハンセン病隔離政策により被害を受けた方々の人権が回復したかに思えました。しかしながら、２００３年に起きた黒川温泉での宿泊拒否事件や２００８年の北京オリンピック入国拒否問題はハンセン病問題が未解決であることを痛感させました。 12288;国は、誤った隔離政策の下、地方自治体のみならず地域住民をも巻き込んだ形でハンセン病患者に対する強制収容を進めました。その結果、全国１３の国立ハンセン病療養所には今もなお約２５００人の方々が入所しており、ほとんどの方々は故郷に帰ることができず、家族や親族との絆が断たれた状態におかれています。 12288;２００９年はハンセン病問題基本法が施行され、ハンセン病問題の新たなステージが開かれた年でもあり、第５回市民学会・総会は「隔離の百年から共生の明日へ」をテーマに星塚敬愛園のある鹿児島県鹿屋市で開催されたところです。 12304;連絡先】 司法書士 岩田弘明.
