Student, Teacher, Mother, and Navy Wife all in one bowl. Wednesday, July 02, 2014. Why is it so easy to find humor in a child's distress? Perhaps not their distress but their reaction to stimuli. What am I to do with a son that returns to things he is curious of in spite of initial fears? After witnessing this behavior, I fear my future will be more stressful than I have imagined.I am sure to be old and gray too soon. Links to this post. Labels: Life in Japan. Student, Teacher, Mother, and Navy Wife all in one bowl. Saturday, May 23, 2015. It always surprises me when the Cdr returns from a cruise. It seems he expects me to forget everything I know unless he does not know it. :-) Even at those times he behaves as if he is failing in some way. Ah well. I suppose I will make the best of where ever they send us. It is how it is done in the navy. Labels: Days in my Life. Life With a Sailor. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). the diary of mrs x: The Thing That Almost Killed Me

The diary of mrs x. I'm not clumsy, i'm a walking disaster, thank you very much. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The Thing That Almost Killed Me. It was almost Christmas. It was The Very Bad, No Good Year. I was wrapping presents and wondering if the teeth on the tape roll would be sharp enough to slit my wrists. I could make it through the day without trying to drown myself in the sink. And then the phone rang. It was our Doctor. It was 8 pm. Doctors don't call at 8 pm with good news. And soul crushing worry.

The diary of mrs x. I'm not clumsy, i'm a walking disaster, thank you very much. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Send Help. Or Tequila. Tequila would be nice. I hate it when my husband has to go out of town. Everytime he does, my kids choose this moment to apeshit bananas. They're all sweet and 'Aww. We'll miss you Daddy" and then the door closes and they turn to me and. stare. They've been working out their little plan and now it is time to rain Hell upon the Mom unit. Sure it starts out innocently enough.

Student, Teacher, Mother, and Navy Wife all in one bowl. Friday, March 28, 2014. We have returned home. It is surprising how tired one can become while "relaxing." I suppose if I were honest of it, we spent little time relaxing. There were too many castles to see and tree houses to eat in. The last one gained your attention. Yes? In Naha. there is a restaurant called Gajumaru. Interesting to see is it not? The specialty of this restaurant is shabu-shabu. What is shabu-shabu you ask? We decided to see the...

Student, Teacher, Mother, and Navy Wife all in one bowl. Friday, February 28, 2014. There is only one more week to finish the term. It has returned to the crazy rush that is end of the session. Otherwise intelligent and adequately organized students ask many questions that should have been asked before now. Why they wait until such late times is beyond my understanding. Does it not make more sense to ask when the question first arises? Not a sight I enjoyed. Links to this post. Labels: Days in my Life.

The diary of mrs x. I'm not clumsy, i'm a walking disaster, thank you very much. Monday, July 21, 2008. Like I'm the First Person to Ask For It. Employee of unnamed delivery company: *Unnamed company* How can I help you? Me: Hi, I'd like to order an arrangement. Is it possible to just do a whole arrangement of chocolate dipped bananas? EUDC: We do have a box of dipped bananas. Me: No, I'm talking about like, a bouquet. Those are just chunks in a box. Me: But is it possible. Before you dip them. Life of P...

Student, Teacher, Mother, and Navy Wife all in one bowl. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. First, my life is not a bad one. I am certainly blessed with the husband I have and my son who is growing and healthy. Please do not think of this as a "poor me" post. I am slowly discovering how to live this alone/not alone life. Sometimes, it is not so easy. Other times it is. Easter was a time when it was not easy. Not so much for Lt being away (though that is not so easy) but for somethings more simple. Should I let h...
