Saturday, April 11, 2015. Just this week, I went to make myself a snack, and Tessa requested I do something for her. I paused and began to fulfill her request when Aaron approached with a more urgent need. I paused Tessa's favor and helped Aaron, spun around in the kitchen a few times, and tried to remember what I was there for, in the first place! This doesn't just happen once a week or once a day this happens *all day, every day*! It's enough to make me dizzy. And take a deep breath! She'll wipe it up.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Sure, its fun to dress in green for a day. I did that when I was young. But it seems that in this society, getting pinched for not wearing green turns into the assumption you'll drink when you're older. That's where the current will carry you if you don't stand up. But we should definitely remember the God who made it a great nation, without whom we would be nothing! Most importantly, Jesus may come today! So, I told my kids. don't get distracted! God gave you everything you have.

Sunday, July 5, 2015. I so regret not bringing my camera to this place, so I’ll have to describe the scene with words. July 2- Ashley Lake, beautiful NW Montana, 90 degrees and an occasional cloud that makes the breeze pleasant. From my sun faded, 10 season worn fold up camp chair, I am people watching…. this is truly a favorite pastime. I could do it all day and feel entertained, educated, and called to prayer. Satisfied. I love that she is never too cool or too big to be her Daddy's Girl. These moments.retiring one of the greatest soldiers this Army has ever seen with beer and stories and friends. This moment: My girl is growing so much and I am so thankful that I'm still, sometimes, cool. This moment: just having time together. These two.love them.

Monday, April 2, 2012. Moments with Grandma and Grandpa. Emmett took his first (of many) trip to G'ma and G'pa's house! Mom and Dad were so excited when Andrea pulled up with Emmett, who had turned 2 weeks that day! Dad is bringing Emmett 'over the threshhold' into their home. Mom getting her grandson out of the car seat. Time to just admire the cutie pie! Mom and Dad just can't get enough of him! Grandpa and grandson, enjoying each others company by the warm fire. I find this so precious! Oh so much fun!

This bunny's favorite new snack is popcorn. Pouring over the HUNTING 2010 magazine. Makes her daddy proud! The mighty hunter has bagged one antelope so far this season. Merryn was in charge of protecting the meat from Ginger's longing eyes and stirring the sausage blend. 33 pounds of meat in the freezer!

Monday, June 20, 2011. Moments in Salt #2. Anyway, here are a few pics from what is called "Cathedral of Salt" in Zipaquira. They have the stations of Christ under the ground in the mine. The interpretation into English was kind of comical. Here they have the biggest underground cross in the world. A part of The Creation of Adam done in salt. A wishing well.
