To look at the sea of joy below it would have been hard to peg the decade if not for the occasional phantom-blue of cell phones. With music so effortlessly bordering on the sublime, and no doubt aided by an abundance of olfactory cues, if I closed my eyes to a squint, it was easy to imagine it was 40 years earlier to the day. This is one stage that holds a lot even when it's empty.

Digging In, Lancaster. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. PBS Radio remains one of my top applications on the iPhone. I'm listening to WITF 93.3 at the moment- BBC news. 89.5 is likely playing classical music, which is fine, but I'd rather here news, Talk of the Nation, etc, and when I want to hear music, I'll choose my own. Later today I'll listen to KQED in San Francisco. Some days I miss morning edition, so I tune into the NPR station in Hawaii. We've come a long way. Check this out, for fun:. Links to this post.
