Wednesday, August 6, 2014. My son and I played the North Course at Cherokee Village.mon the back nine we saw a deer emerge from the woods next to us. We watched as he carefully made his way across the fairway. Something spooked him and the deer sprinted across the course and through a neighborhood to another patch of woods.
