Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Brooklyn is getting bigger everyday. She is so much fun to take to the park and when she plays with friends. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks! Taking a ride on her bike. My climber. Have I mentioned to any of you lately how she can climb into her high chair unassisted at the highest setting and onto the changing table as well? Playing in the dirt. She was throwing it onto herself. I'm not sure why but she had a great time doing it! Going for a second round!

Ready or Not.Here I Come. The new game around these parts is hide-n-go-seek. Avery loves it. When we first started playing her hiding places were a little obvious to say the least. And if we happened to say "Where is Avery? She would gladly respond "Here I am! Soon her hiding places got a little better.although we had to teach her that just because her head is hiding doesn't mean we can't see the rest of her. For Family Home Evening we decided it was time to carve those pumpkins we picked. Avery was pretty excited at first. After Greg cut the top off we let her look inside the pumpkin to see if she'd help scoop out the gunk. Celebrating the 4th of July. On the 4th we woke up early in the morning for a ward breakfast. There were yummy pancakes and sausage, a fun bike parade, and a flag raising ceremony celebrating the land we call home. Avery decorated her bike with red, white, and blue stars and sparkles. And then she biked around the chapel building about 5 times. We went to lake Minnetonka and swam around some, and when we were done we got to ride the "train" back to the cars. Storytime at the Farm. There's a fun little farm that stays true to the 1890's. People dress up in period clothing and sell homemade treats, and our favorite thing, they have a fun storytime. So we've been going every Tuesday and inviting our friends to join us. Avery has loved every second of it. She feeds the animals, plays on the swing, and listens to the fun books they read. After the carnival we came home and had family movie night. I made peanut butter cookies and we watched Harry Potter. Avery loved it, she was positively glued to the TV the whole time.
