http://literaryladybug.blogspot.com/2015/01/so-far-this-year.html
LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness. Coffee Cuff a 'la Borealis. Friday, January 9, 2015. So far this year. We are on our way with 2015 and I thought I would talk about my first finished objects of the new year. Spoiler alert - there is NO knitting! My biggest Finished object this year would be the 6 scarves I double crocheted for the Pine Ridge Reservation. And have a look. And yes - that means the first day of 2015 I purchased yarn! No yarn diet for me! It wasn't too bad to work with, but the end produc...

LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness: Pocketbook Slippers
http://literaryladybug.blogspot.com/2011/12/pocketbook-slippers.html
LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness. Coffee Cuff a 'la Borealis. Sunday, December 4, 2011. I finished my Pocketbook Slippers. And I love them! They are a free pattern on Ravelry, and they used just under 1 skein of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Yarn. So this will help keep me warm without having to haul giant slippers with! I cast on for Thanksgiving because I wanted a really simple project to work on and just couldn't face another scarf or hat. We are already in snow season so I suspect I will be getting ...

LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness: A "Quick" Eyeglass Case
http://literaryladybug.blogspot.com/2012/04/quick-eyeglass-case.html
LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness. Coffee Cuff a 'la Borealis. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. A "Quick" Eyeglass Case. I admit - I am terrible with my sunglasses. I pretty much abuse them. I throw them in my purse with no protection and allow my keys and miscellaneous flotsam to drift around them. Shockingly I recently discovered all my sunglasses look REALLY bad. (I wonder why? The case is slightly larger than my glasses - so I think it will adapt well to different glasses. The Black cotton should keep ...

http://literaryladybug.blogspot.com/2015/01/happy-new-year.html
LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness. Coffee Cuff a 'la Borealis. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Can you believe it? I find that amazing. 2014 went by in a blink. It was a really busy year at our house with new jobs, school, a certification exam, two surgeries on our dog Emma, and lots of knitting. When I went to Ravelry and clicked on the projects for 2014 I was surprised by how few projects I had completed when I compared it to other years. So according to Ravelry in 2014:. 1 Malabrigo hat with 58 yards.

My co-worker S is turning the big 30 tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to knit her a Jack Skellington. Coffee (or Bottle of Mountain Dew? Since I had to make the pattern up from scratch I thought I would put all the details I could in here so if someone else out there in internet. Land wants to make this, they would have a jumping off point. And uploaded the image into the KnitPro.

http://knitboxing.ong.id.au/2009/10/15/coraline
I knit, I sew, I blog. For those wondering about the drapey. Stuff that I wrote about (ah, such a long time ago! You’ll be glad to know that both had become FOs. The first one is Coraline. Cardigan for my mum, which I finished sometime in July, and sent to her in August just before her birthday. Mum and I are about the same size, so I’m modeling it here just before I sent it to her. I really like how it looks, and will be using this technique again in the future I think. So, a great knit overall! Yarn: B...

LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness: Spud Cozy
http://literaryladybug.blogspot.com/p/spud-cozy.html
LiteraryLadybug's Blog of Goodness. Coffee Cuff a 'la Borealis. I had just a little bit of this yarn left over, so I grabbed my size 17 needles, cast on 8 stitches, and did a simple seed stitch pattern for about 8 rows. Bound off and wip stitched it together. Talk about your instant coffee (cuff). 1) k1, p1 across. 2) p1, k1 across. Repeat until you can stretch it around a cup! My cuff is made from left over Spud and Chloe Outer in the color Hedge. I used 10.8 yards of yarn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
