It Feels Like Home. Dear Samuel, Months 51 and 52. Mommy is super proud of you! You are such a polite little boy. I have been complimented so many times from people on how friendly and polite you are. I learn things from you everyday. You are such a great big brother. Don't get me wrong, you have your moments with Livi, but for the most part you like to include her in things and "help". You are very excited about our new house with the big backyard and rocks! Dear Olivia, Months 23 and 24. You can now sa...

It Feels Like Home. Dear Samuel, Months 44 and 45. I totally forgot to do your month 44 so I am combining 44 and 45 and including TWO photo! You are so much fun these days! You will randomly say to me many times, "Mom, you are cute! I think you could say that a gazillion times each day and I wouldn't tire of hearing it! It makes no difference to me that the reason you say it is because I say it often to Olivia. It still makes this mommy's heart happy. You love playing soccer at the YMCA! I love you bud!

It Feels Like Home. This is what I wrote for my Grammy's funeral this past July. As I think of Grammy today, a flood of memories come; all of the card games we played as an extended family gathered around the kitchen table, the Christmas plays, all of the family sleeping in every nook and cranny in that old house and learning phrases from Grammy like, "Oh Frost! That was Grammy - always speaking her mind. :). So, Grammy, here's to your long and legacy - filled life! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It Feels Like Home. Waldo Canyon Burn Scar taken from our church property. So, I noticed it has been over a year since I last blogged. Where in the world did the last year go? And so, here is my story.Tuesday, June 26, 2012. I knew we had to leave but where would we go? We have no family in town and the friends we felt the most comfortable asking if we could stay, were more than likely to get evacuated as well. Their response was "good, because we were gonna tell you to leave -we are watching it online"&...

It Feels Like Home. Dear Olivia, Month 16. Another month has gone by too quickly. As soon as you see a photograph of an animal, an animal on the tv, or a dog when we're out on a walk, you immediately start to babble and smile. We took you to the zoo twice this past month and you loved it! It is so fun to watch you light up when you see them. I love you more than you know! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). It Feels Like Home. Dear Sam, Age 6. Where in the world did these last 6 years go? I still remember the long overnight labor with you and bringing you home from the hospital as if it were yesterday. I was definitely a clueless new mommy back then. As I was telling you last night before bed, you made me a mommy for the first time and that will always be super special. Six years old, eh? Well, let's see.here is a list of some of your favorite things these days and what you are up to. You just told me the o...
