Friday, May 25, 2012. I suppose some people may consider me a breed snob. Now don't get me wrong.I like all dogs, but there are definitely some breeds that I prefer over others. Really, it's more about knowing what kind of dog will best fit with my personality and lifestyle. Hershey was the first of our labs, followed a few months later by Shasta, our first Yellow Lab. I won't say we didn't make mistakes when we first got into the doggie lifestyle, but I can say that I learned from those mistakes.

Friday, March 7, 2014. Closing Chapters and New Beginnings. As with all things, as one chapter ends a new one begins, and so it is at Hanley Country Canines. The New Year brings us hope of new life as we look forward to our first F1b Labradoodle litter in March and hope for an AKC Standard Poodle litter at the end of April.
