インタラクショングループでは， 人とコンピュータ ， 人とエージェント ， 人とロボット といった，人と情報科学の融合による新しい情報環境の構築を目指し研究を行なっています 具体的には，ユビキタス環境の進展に伴い，今後益々重要となるヒューマンエージェントインタラクション HAI やヒューマンロボットインタラクション HRI といった知的システムと人間の複雑系相互作用の仕組みを科学的に探求するとともに，そこで用いられるエージェントシステムやロボットシステム，インタラクティブ情報環境をソフトウェアおよびハードウェアシステムの両面から研究しています その他にも，認知心理学をベースにした人とコンピュータのためのインタフェースに関する研究など，幅広い研究活動を行なっています.
