A Web-based Visual Interface for Large Gene Expression Time-Series Data Repositories. Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). We released the first visual interface called "SpinalCordLink" last year. Incorporating users' comments and addressing usability problems, we designed and developed a new visual interface called GeneShelf. GeneShelf also integrates biological pathways from WikiPathways.org. We used a new data processing framework to integrate relevant pathway information into the analysis process.

News & Event. It's us in the lab. ScreenPad is a touchpad capable of sensing finger or hand hover. Shape detection and palm rejection is possible using the hover image. IrCube is an optical 6-DOF tracker system, which has a small form factor and can be implemented with a cheap cost. Shear, which has not been used so far, has a potential to make touch interaction more expressive. Additional two dimensional shear input can augment touch gestures or provide rate controlled input.
