About Christopher Poon | ChrisP's Weblog
https://christopherpoon.wordpress.com/about
I’m currently a Flash animator and a developer at Push Interactive. That’s my title, anyway. I’ve spent several years of my career as a motion graphics artist/ video editor, specializing in After Effects and Avid, as well as a storyborad artist. For a guy who spent most of his life dreaming of becoming a comic book artist, I sure took different path in life (several paths, in fact). So here I am and there you go. Welcome to my blog. Web Service in AS3, Release 1.0 | Carlo Alducente
https://alducente.wordpress.com/2007/10/27/web-service-in-as3-release-10
Web Service in AS3, Release 1.0. I completed what seems like a stable version of my web service class. It’s been tested on 3 different services and has been successful in calling methods in each of those 3 services. Some features in this class are:. Methods will be executed in the order they are called in. You can assign a function to execute for every service call you make when the response has loaded. The class will build and send the SOAP requests for you, no need to create chunks of XML manually.

I figured “AS3 Web Service” was a little lengthy, and using code names are really cool. 😉. This will be the new home for this package. You will be able to read up on any updates or new downloads. Travel journal: part 2. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 7:54 AM. Here's the second part of the travel journal. Going to try and write what I can before I leave to get my braces taken off. Monumental day! Day 4: I can see clearly now the rain will come. For the frames that I got, I paid 85 RMB which amounts to roughly $14 USD. I'm going back there tomorrow to get the lenses fitted. I think it'll be around 390-500 RMB ($65-83 USD). Day 5: Guang Zhou, Rain City. We packed our backpacks after dinner and caught our ...

Love and hate. life and death. Thursday, February 26, 2009 11:53 PM. What Sarah Said - Death Cab for Cutie. As I walked home in the rain, I caught something that made me jump. I'm one of those childish people who like to step on thin curbs to try and balance themselves. As I walked up on this sewage grate that had a curb around it, I saw a dead giant rat lying lifeless on the side of the curb. Times like these, I thank the force of nature I call God. For making me human. So who's gonna watch you die?

Haven't done this in a while. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 9:19 PM. Tonight, I decided to sit down and play a game I downloaded earlier this year, that I never touched. I turned on Mega Man 9 to take a break from all the effects and complex gameplays; just two buttons, a direction pad, and nothing but fun. Or so I thought. Much to my chagrin, this supposed classic game beat me down and then some. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Tessar lo • sleep warm. Richard ho • ephemeral dreams.

Wednesday, August 4, 2010 12:20 AM. I hear of more and more people getting married in the past couple of years. Maybe cause I'm getting to that age where the people around me are all looking for the same thing. I'm happy for a lot of my friends and family members who are getting married. I too dream of that day. Since I was young, I always thought I knew what I wanted. I always thought that by a certain age, things would come naturally to me; to anyone. Is the word that usually comes out of our mouths...

Web Service Cache | Carlo Alducente
https://alducente.wordpress.com/2007/11/07/web-service-cache
I was working on my as3 web service package today and I decided to implement a class for caching service results. This feature is optional and it’s turned off as a default. This feature can come in handy if you’re calling a method from a service with the same parameter(s) more than once. If it’s enabled, the cache object will store the results in an array for faster access later on, no need to send the same SOAP request again to the service. Laquo; Caption timing for FLVs.
